For Immy, an MSci Earth and Planetary Science student in Imperial College London’s Faculty of Engineering, the biggest obstacle to her studies wasn’t the coursework — it was the cost of simply living in London. Rent, bills and travel expenses were, in her own words, a real source of stress, one that threatened to pull her focus away from her degree.
Support from the Christos Poullaides Foundation changed that. Freed from those financial pressures, Immy was able to give her full attention to her studies within the Faculty of Engineering, pursuing an ambition she described simply: to give her studies her all and help change the world for the better.

Immy’s letter closed with a hope that reached beyond her own studies: that by the Poullaides Foundation to support continued giving would go on to help more engineering students find the same freedom to focus that she had been given.
