At the Christos Poullaides Foundation, our support isn’t limited to individuals — it extends to the communities and institutions that bring people together. Ahead of its 13th anniversary celebrations, Bethany Baptist Church in Manama approached CPF for help repainting the interior walls of its worship space, a project the congregation hoped to complete in time to mark the occasion.
CPF provided the manpower needed to carry out the repainting, and the work was finished on schedule — ready for the church’s anniversary celebrations, held on 3rd–5th October 2025 at the Ramee Grand Hotel in Seef. In gratitude, the church’s pastor, Raul O. Ruiz, wrote to Christos Poullaides directly, extending an invitation to attend the celebrations in person.
“The results greatly enhanced the worship area and it becomes more conducive for a solemn meeting place to worship Our True and the Living God.” — Pastor Raul O. Ruiz, Bethany Baptist Church, Bahrain
Following the anniversary, the church wrote again to confirm the impact of the work and to formally thank the foundation on behalf of its membership, describing the project as a blessing to the congregation and its worship life.
Projects like this reflect an important part of CPF’s approach: meaningful support doesn’t always take the form of scholarships or major grants. Sometimes it means helping a community look after the physical spaces where it gathers, worships, and marks the moments that matter most to it.
